Georgetown University

About the Program

The EHLS program is designed for naturalized U.S. citizens to build up the communication skills needed for government careers. It is the only program of its kind that combines Advanced English language training with Professional Communication skills and strategies. All accepted students will receive full scholarships covering tuition and a living stipend from the National Security Education Program.

Upon completion of the intensive 6-month program, students continue to receive language training including job search skills on a schedule which allows them to work during the week. Saturday workshops on campus are included.

If you are interested in applying, please see For Applicants.
